Optimism x Pragmatism x Elitism

Our Philosophy

We believe that companies can be a force of good. But a belief without action is nothing. That is why we walk the talk with the business elites to tackle real challenges that our clients face. We believe in a combination of Optimism, Pragmatism, and Elitism. In our fundamental formula, these three are multiplied, if anyone is absent (zero) or low, then the product impact is zero or low and therefore not capable of overcoming the change we want to make.

Optimism

We believe change-makers should be optimists. They have to have the ability to focus on where they are going, instead of where we are coming from. When we face challenges that our clients have, our instant reaction is accepting the challenge. Together we can solve the most complex problems.

Pragmatism

For years we have been on the other side of the table, where top consultants gave us shiny documents, and nothing happened! That is why we believe in pragmatistic advice. We consider words and thought as tools and instruments for prediction, problem-solving, and action. We reject the idea that the function of thought is to describe, represent, or mirror reality.

Elitism

We are elitists but in a good way. That means, we do not believe individuals who form an elite deserve influence or authority greater than that of others, but we acknowledge that if we want to create a positive change, our network of elite having intrinsic quality, high intellect, wealth, special skills, and experience can be our main resource. We also believe that if we change elites, we can change the society or industry.

Oppmakr is an institute devoted to making opportunities, usually in the form of connecting and correcting organizations. Oppmakr began in 2005 as a boutique consulting agency where digital transformation and market entrance strategy converged. Today Oppmakr is a think tank in Iran covering almost all services that matter to businesses — from strategic alliances to strategy to finance with partners from Syria to Switzerland.
